Internally Funded Research Projects

The center funds three types of internal projects: Young Researcher, the Alliance for Quantum Innovation and Graduate School. There are two calls per year for new projects. Internal funding for projects supports the development of proof-of-principle ideas to large-scale projects that can compete for external funding. The other major aim of internal funding is to instigate collaboration between PIs from various disciplines, institutions and industry partners.

Graduate School Projects

The Center for IQST graduate school has over 30 participants working on interdisciplinary projects at the Universities of Ulm and Stuttgart and at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research. Graduate students from varying academic backgrounds such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences and Materials Science work on common projects.
