MIT launches 'The Engine' - an Incubator for 'Breakthrough Technologies'

The Engine has raised $150 million in funds to support the research and development of promising technologies and bridge the so-called 'Valley of Death' between research and the market.  The Engine anticipates to spur innovation in the fields energy, manufacturing, robotics, biotech and medical devices, and can certainly be relevant to emerging quantum technologies.
