I will present our vision on how to seriously speed up the creation of experiment control software with a professional toolbox, coding while measuring and real-time data analysis.
Enabling quantum technologies - next generation digital data acquisition

Quantum technologies promise a revolution. They will enable dramatically faster computation, perfectly secure communication and Sensors for environmental quantities such as orientation, position, temperature, pressure that are unlimited from the fundamental noise of classical measurements. Inherent to every quantum technology is an interface - usually a fine detector paired with sophisticated electronics - that connects the quantum to the classical world. Further downstream, this classical data must be processed by a classical computer. I will discuss this electronics and software interface and present our approach towards dramatically easier and more flexible data acquisition and processing. I will share our view on the future of digital data acquisition for quantum technologies.
