Call for Alliance Quantum Innovation Projects

The Alliance for Quantum Innovation is inviting proposals for Graduate School projects until October 1st, 2017.

Proposals are sought for the field of quantum technologies with a particular aim to establish a strong link between Alliance members: IQST, Zeiss, Bosch, Bruker Biospin, Hebrew University, University of British Columbia, Tokyo University and the Helmholtz Institute Ulm. The funding allocated for each project includes a PhD fellowship for the program duration (time period October 2017 through September 2019) and a one-time 10k€ lump funds for consumables for experimental projects. Additional funds are available for all projects for travel between the project’s partner institutions. The decision regarding the selection of projects will be made by the Alliance board. Applications by IQST fellows a/o PIs will be accepted until October 1st, 2017

  • thematic relevance for the Alliance goals and program
  • collaboration with at least one Alliance partner
